Warehouse Supervisor
We need a skilled warehouse supervisor that has the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Work in collaboration with management to ensure operation runs smooth. Must be a critical thinker with a sense of urgency and strong analytical ability. Must be very detail oriented with extreme accuracy. Must be able to raise and effectively deal with issues in a professional manner.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
· Supervise all operations performed on 2ndshift. Work with Management and Warehouse Staff to evaluate, analyze and complete all tasks with the upmost efficiency ensuring all of our customers receive accurate and complete orders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned as needed):
· Organize, route and supervise the building of pallets for all delivery routes. (What does this entail?) Ensuring all product on short board is filled before your shift ends. Ensuring warehouse staff is placing products on correct pallets by route. Ensuring all pick sheets are checked for accuracy. Ensuring all orders are palletized according to weight and fragility, etc.
· All order tracker sheets must be completed nightly.
· Coordinate with management to ensure any special requests, push items and or changes are completed.
· Learn and recognize any specific customer requirements and ensure they are being met.
· Prepare warehouse staff with specific instructions for VIP Customer Orders, Events, Etc.
· Identify any product issues and make necessary substitutions.
· Adjust and optimize forecast daily and communicate demand trends to the operation team.
· Identify warehouse hazards or issues and report to management immediately.
· Monitor repacking bins and re-fill if necessary according to procedure.
· Interact with management to handle staffing issues – including downtime, short staff, and total build time.
· Engage with management discussing issues that occurred with staff, orders, warehouse equipment, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluent English required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as pick tickets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence is required. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees at all levels within the organization. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Driver’s License. NYS Fork lift certification preferred but not required.
