Basic services for an ailing senior. Most important functions are keeping the patient and his house clean and making sure he gets meals. Assistance getting in and out of an a bathtub with a accessible door is needed. Laundry equipment is provided to do laundry. There is a full kitchen for meal preparation. Shopping for groceries at a nearby supermarket is highly desirable. Rides for local errands and physical therapy are desired. Working 5 days per week is required and 7 days a week is preferred. The current time allotment for Medicaid CDPAP is 31 hours per week at $18.10 per hour. Actual hours each day are negotiable. Preferred work hours are starting around 2pm and working into early evening. Registration with the CDPAP administrator, PPL, is required. Hours are reported to PPL and PPL sends out weekly pay checks.
