Dental Assistant:
Warwick Valley Dental, Warwick NY and Church Street Dental Arts, Goshen NY
Full Time Position days and evenings (approx 31-34 hours weekly)- Must be able to work in both locations.
If you are a trained dental assistant with at least two years experience in a general dental practice, this position could be for you. You must have the ability to discuss all facets of dentistry as it pertains to this position, with confidence. Inputting data into the computer, printing and reviewing treatment plans independently. Digital x-ray proficiency, taking dental impressions, making appliances, as well as other adjunctive procedures will be required.
Lab and sterilization maintenance, OSHA compliance maintenance, clinical products maintenance and ordering is required. You are the liaison between the patient and the doctor, so confidence in recognizing and identifying dental concerns and recommendations to hand off to the doctor is a vital skill in our team approach. Direct contact with patients is necessary so we are looking for someone with a pleasant chairside manner. This position requires multitasking with attention to detail, strong organizational skills, with a self starter personality.
