We are seeking a compassionate and experienced live-in home healthcare aide to provide dedicated care for an 86-year-old male living with dementia. This is a live-in position, 5 days per week, in a clean, newly renovated home located in Cortlandt Manor, NY.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Live-in, 5 days per week (24-hour care)
- Compensation: $250/day (paid on the books)
Duties include:
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Administering daily medication
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Light housekeeping
- Personal care and hygiene
- Companionship and engagement
- Transfers for a wheelchair-bound individual
Must have a reliable car (transportation is not provided)
Private, safe, and comfortable living space included
Requirements:
- Prior experience in elder care (dementia care strongly preferred)
- Ability to safely assist with physical transfers
- Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Education or experience as a RN, CNA, or MA.
Full time position negotiable.
