Seeking part-time and full-time home health aides, personal care assistants and non certified companion caregivers with a reliable vehicle to work in Ellenville, NY. Walking distance is perfectly fine too.
We are seeking a mature woman as an addition to our current care providers. This position is for care of a woman with Muscular Dystrophy in her home. She has muscle weakness within her arms & legs.
She is on oxygen She gets up into her powerchair enjoys the outdoors cooking. She is very good spirited, loving, caring. She can talk, funny, is very self directed. She will train you on everything its pretty simple…she lives in a ground floor apt house w/very small family.She needs the help when they are not available.
Assistance is needed with: meal preparation, ambulation, (electric Hoyer lift) grooming, personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting), and companionship.
Assists with personal and household chores.
Accompany to medical appointments when needed. She travels to drs w/medical van.and her vehicle.
Sunday thru Saturday from 8am to 3:00 p.m.
Sunday thru Saturday 3:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m.
Starting pay rate of $14.75 an hour. You will need a recent physical, PPD shots and 2 forms of ID. physical Can be paid thru home care if you go to Emergency One.
