Active, mature gentleman with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) seeking a male “Personal Care Aide” to accompany on outdoor activities.
(Hiking, Fishing, Canoeing, Sky Diving, etc) No certifications or licensing required for this position.
Client receives ongoing community based support for Safety and Oversight.
Client is fully ambulatory, able to dress, toilet and groom himself. His needs are more cognitive in nature. Including, not limited to, prompting/reminding to take daily meds, simple meal prep/prompting to eat, while also assessing times that call for rest/nap.
This is a 12 hour day (Day TBD) at $19/hr through an agency. You would be providing coverage for primary, live-in aide to have Respite, with no interruptions to client’s care or quality of life.
Must speak English with valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, as there is no public transportation.
