The purpose of this position is to install and remove vinyl billboard ads, construct and maintain billboard structures, and perform vegetation removal and site maintenance. This position most often works with one or two other crew members, but sometimes requires solo work. Employees clock in at our Poughkeepsie office every morning, but spend the majority of days on the road, servicing our inventory throughout the Hudson Valley, Northern New Jersey, and Western Connecticut.

Responsibilities:
- Install and remove vinyl advertisements on various size billboards
- Construct, repair, and maintain billboard structures
- Maintain vegetation, including mowing, brush cutting, and light tree work
- Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance needs on billboards
- Fabricate and install wood extensions for billboards
- Maintain, organize, and clean workshop, garage, and yard areas
- Take quality completion photos for proof of performance
- Pick up tools and materials from stores/suppliers as required
- Maintain vehicles, tools, equipment, and machinery
- Daily job preparation, including understanding daily work orders, loading of materials onto work trucks, and folding and storing vinyls
- Coordinate with other team members and adhere to schedules/deadlines
- Ensure all work is performed safely and complies with company standards
Requirements:
- The primary work environment for this position is outdoors, requiring the ability to work in adverse weather conditions for hours at a time and to climb to heights of up to 75 ft. Previous experience working at heights is preferred but not required.
- The physical demands for this position include heavy lifting, and extensive bending, pushing, reaching, and climbing.
- Experience in outdoor installation, construction, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Must have full range of motion in order to install and maintain signs
- Physically able and comfortable working on ladders and catwalks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Ability to speak and read English fluently, and communicate with other team members
- Ability to safely operate handheld manual/power tools as well as larger tools (chainsaws, lawn mowers, brush hogs, snow blowers, woodchippers, etc)
- Ability to safely use construction and vegetation removal equipment to maintain access and visibility to the billboard structures
- Ability to keep written logs and operate smartphones/tablets
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Dependable and punctual
- High school or equivalent degree
- Must be able to pass a drug test (we do not test for cannabis, but THC or alcohol consumption on the job is prohibited)

- $18.00/hour starting wage, $22.81/hour after 3 months of employment
