Callisto Farm is a 65-acre organic, no-till farm in the Hudson Valley. We grow vegetables, flowers, tree fruit, and honey while also hosting community gatherings. Position Overview
We are hiring a Farmer & Support Staff Member to join our team.
Responsibilities
Farm Work
Maintain a ¼ acre vegetable & flower garden (seeding, transplanting, weeding, harvesting).
Care for a ¼ acre mixed fruit orchard (pruning, thinning, harvesting).
Maintenance of a small apiary (beekeeping experience a plus, training available).
Help with goat chores (feeding, watering, mucking pens).
Property Support
Support with farm tours and intermittent agricultural education offerings
Optional event support opportunities
Help maintain welcoming, clean, and well-organized spaces
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in agriculture.
Knowledge of small-scale fruit/vegetable production preferred.
Comfortable around animals and willing to learn new skills.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Self-starter. Ability to work independently.
Compensation & Schedule
Hourly wage, competitive and based on experience.
Seasonal, part-time to full-time position (increased hours during event season).
Location: High Falls, NY.
