We seek an individual who is able to work at any of our three shops. They will be working inside or outside, moving donations between shops, storage areas and/or recycling, sometimes all in the same day. We are looking for a committed individual who understands and supports our ministry, has strong customer service skills, has flexibility in accomplishing several tasks at the same time and has a kind, steady and friendly disposition.
Skills and requirements:
Basic reading, writing and communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Must be able to lift 30-50# boxes or bags
Must be able to work in all weather conditions (within reason)
Must be able to move around all areas of shops (on feet most of day)
Experience working with special needs customers preferred
Ability to multi-task while keeping calm and focused on our ministry
Must be flexible in working at different shops
Must have a clean license (truck preferred, mileage coveredall three shops on Rte.44 within 8 miles)
Some Saturdays required, otherwise schedule somewhat flexible
