Diesel Mechanic Wanted!
Onsite at Arnoff Moving & Storage located in Poughkeepsie NY. FULL Time!
Arnoff Is hiring an experienced diesel mechanic to work out of our Poughkeepsie, NY shop. Ideal applicants will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in diesel repair and service for heavy trucks, light trucks, automotive, small engines, refrigeration, welding, & hydraulics.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the thorough and efficient repair/maintenance of company trucks, tractor trailers, automobiles, & other heavy equipment to support the operational needs of the company.
Full Time 40+ hours per week with a 6:30am start time.
The primary duty of this role is to ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for the A-Team!
Ability to perform a Federal Heavy Duty Vehicle Inspection.
Must be able to perform vehicle diagnostics.
Willingness to work as part of a team of solely depending upon the task at hand.
Responsible for keeping supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; and/or verifying receipt.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50lbs at times.
Basic hand tools.
Ability to work from 6:30am – 3:30pm Monday-Friday.
Valid CDL license is preferred.
NYS Heavy Duty Vehicle Inspectors License.
Minimum of 5 years working as a fleet mechanic is preferred.
