Solid Ground Farm in Kingston/Marbletown is looking for two more full-time crew members to join the six person farm team for the 2025 growing season. The position is early April into early November, Monday-Friday.
Overview:
You’ll be involved in all aspects of farm operation: greenhouse, planting and weeding, harvesting, post-harvest handling, and more. Most days involve a variety of tasks, and you should expect to have a broad experience while also delving deeply into specific projects. We start each morning with a meeting to discuss plans for the day and go over new elements. We are happy to develop work that addresses specific areas of interest. You'll also be trained on tractor operations and have opportunities to develop skills.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with farming experience - the ideal candidate has worked at least one season on another farm. We are seeking crew members who are positive, self-motivated, and driven to work efficiently.
Compensation:
This is an hourly position, with a rate of $18-19. Returning employees will receive an annual raise. There is always plenty of veggies and fruit to bring home.

We use all organic practices on our 10 acres of production, and focus on producing high-quality produce for our members and customers. The farm is located in a picturesque valley in the Hurley Flats, backing up to the scenic Esopus Creek.
