Temporary Spring Garden Help at Holistic Retreat Center

Job details:

● This is a non-exempt non-residential temporary paid position. Between 28-35 hours weekly at $20/hour.

● Start date March 17, 2025. End date is May 9, 2025.

● Work is onsite at the Omega campus in Rhinebeck, NY.

Application requirements:

● 6 months minimum outdoor garden/farm work experience preferred.

● Two references and background check required.

● Interest/knowledge/experience in chemical-free, permaculture-inspired gardening welcomed and preferred.

Ability to:

● Work outdoors in all weather conditions for up to 8 hours per day

● Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Activities include:

● General care of the garden, flower beds and potted plants including: bed prep, weeding, planting, transplanting, harvesting, watering, potential weekend seedling watering, etc.

● General landscaping and care of the 250 acre campus including: raking, mulching, sheet mulching, digging, pruning, compost care, etc.
