Available Schedules:
2nd Shift – Monday to Friday 3pm-11pm (flex for overtime as needed)
3rd Shift – Sunday to Thursday 11pm-7am (flex for overtime as needed)
Pay Rate:
$18/hour
Qualifications:
Prior compounding, liquid blending or chemical mixing experience preferred
Prior machine operation or machine set up preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred ideally in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetics, or similar
Must be willing to wear PPE in the facility and following SOPs, GMPs and Quality guidelines
Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50lbs
Must be willing to comply with a background check and drug screening
Job Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
Compounder supports the efficient operation of the production floor by ensuring the timely stocking of required liquids, proper handling, storage, and documentation of chemicals and materials in compliance with GMP and FDA regulations. This role involves learning and assisting in the batching process, performing necessary cleaning and sanitization tasks, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting overall production activities through adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Responsibilities:
Stock the production floor with required liquids, remove empty barrels, and perform on-machine liquid inventory checks.
Retrieve and return customer-supplied liquids to the warehouse; conduct cleaning of drums and tanks, and perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe, organized work environment.
Learn and assist with the batching and preparation of various liquids in support of the production process.
Complete all required cleaning and sanitization tasks in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure proper storage of chemicals, drums, and barrels; manage the drumming of liquids, sampling for reassay purposes, and the safe transfer of liquids to multiple production lines.
Accurately document drum tags, batch sheets, cleaning records, and other required information to meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Properly label and tag raw materials and finished product liquids in accordance with FDA regulations and GMP requirements.
Learn and perform basic operations of the purified water system to support production needs.
Utilize computer systems to check inventory levels, retrieve shop orders, and print necessary tickets and documentation.
Support the training and development of fellow team members by sharing knowledge, demonstrating proper procedures, and promoting consistent practices across the department.
Perform additional duties assigned by management to support production operations and maintain regulatory compliance.
