We’re seeking Production/Manufacturing Mechanics to work a 2nd or 3rd shift schedule for our client, a healthcare manufacturer, at their Orangeburg, NY facility. These are temp to permanent positions. Experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company or similar is strongly preferred. Full job details are below. Available Schedules:
2nd Shift – Monday to Friday 3pm-11pm (flex for overtime as needed)
3rd Shift – Sunday to Thursday 11pm-7am (flex for overtime as needed)
Pay Rate:
$21-$26/hour (depending on shift/experience)
Qualifications:
Proficiency in using hand and power tools for mechanical repairs.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical malfunctions.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with production staff.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
Regular shift work with potential for overtime

Job Description:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical issues on production lines to minimize downtime.
Replace defective parts using hand and power tools as needed.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute precise repairs.
Inspect and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
Adjust and calibrate equipment to maintain peak performance and efficiency.
Collaborate with production staff to support smooth workflow and minimize disruptions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs performed, daily checklists, and machine downtime.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.
