Job summary:
Fiorenza Flowers is a flower shop that will be opening its doors to the public soon, and we're looking for someone who is not afraid of applying new concepts to floral arrangements. The ideal candidate will have the ability to combine colors and textures to propose ideas which lead to eye-catching floral arrangement creations that will accompany all kinds of meaningful moments. Additionally, we seek someone who can interact with customers kindly and empathically. Having basic knowledge of all floral design styles and enjoying social media is a plus.
Type: full-time (40 hours/week).
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift.
- Monday to Friday.
- Some holidays.

Duties:
- Help customers select flowers and plants according to their needs.
- Create floral arrangements following customer instructions.
- Care for flowers, plants, and other products in the store.
- Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions.
- Assist customers in-store or on the phone.
- Process online orders and manage e-commerce platforms.
- Receive supplier deliveries and ensure their quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a florist or floral designer.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Availability to work on some holidays.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- A valid driver's license.
- Fluency in English.
Pluses (preferred but not required):
- Knowledge of current floral design styles and trends.
- Proficiency in Spanish.
