Potter Bros Ski Shops in Kingston NY is looking for a Front of the House Specialist. Someone with a bright, positive and outgoing personality who can handle multiple tasks at the same time and do so with good energy and a smile. A very busy and important role within our shop.
Tasks include:
- Greeting customers as they arrive
- Answering the phone and being fluid with information
- Running Point of Sale transactions (on our Shopify POS)
- Organizing the front counter, including filing customer forms
- Keeping the front of the house clean, stocked and organized at all times
- Handling some sales of outerwear and apparel as well as ski accessories such as helmets, goggles and gloves
Requirements:
An interest in skiing, snowboarding or outdoor winter recreation is preferred. Strong customer service skills are a must along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a FUN position for the right candidate who enjoys working with a team.
Timeframe Needed:
November through March, part-time. Friday afternoons/evening, Saturdays and/or Sundays. Yes, weekends!
