The Laboratory Technician position is full-time entry-level position with 1-2 years of experience in a genetic research laboratory. Upon training and depending on skill development the ideal candidate will be exposed to areas for career development and promotion.
Essential Job Duties
Genetic laboratory & Oligo/DNA/RNA Synthesis & processing.
Any other office and laboratory task assigned based on aptitude and skill.
Education and Skills
Requires knowledge and skills normally acquired through the successful completion of B.A./B.S or MS in Biochemistry, Chemistry or Molecular Biology.
Strong computer, mechanical and analytical skills required.
Strong communication and verbal skills.
Experience with common laboratory equipment.
Flexible to work late as required and weekend shifts.
