We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with the ability to perform routine maintenance and repair services on vehicles. The successful applicant will possess a deep understanding of automotive systems and have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance services on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
- Conduct thorough diagnostic tests to identify and repair issues with the powertrain, drivetrain system.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic scanners for diagnosis of vehicle issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Use hand tools to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in automotive repair and diagnostics.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with vehicle repair and diagnostics.
-Experience with doing complete engine / transmission removal / installations.
- Knowledge of brake repair procedures and the ability to perform repairs.
- Experience with powertrain systems and the ability to perform repairs.
- Proficiency with hand tools and the ability to use them effectively.
- Experience with automotive diagnostic scanners and the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.
Must have a valid drivers license
NYS inspector license not required but a plus
Tow endorsement not required but a plus

Pay: $23.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
