Superior Fence and Rail of the Hudson Valley is an industry leader seeking a full-time LEAD FENCE INSTALLER for immediate hire. Superior Fence and Rail is the largest fence installer in the country with 110 offices, the Hudson Valley location is growing quickly and looking to hire competent installers.
Work consists of building all types of fence including vinyl, aluminum, wood and chain-link. Pay ranges from $25.00 - $30.00 per hour - paid weekly, depending on experience and performance. Work hours are from 6:45am – 5:00pm Monday - Thursday, and 6:45am - 12:00pm on Friday as needed. A Lead Installer position is a working supervisor position.

Job Responsibilities for the Working Lead Installer Position:
1) Be competent in installing vinyl, wood, aluminum and chainlink.
2) Manage the job site to ensure a quality and aesthetically pleasing fence is installed to Company Quality Standards
3) Supervise installation crew while working alongside the installers to ensure installation, administration, and safety procedures are being followed
4) Ensure crew provides constant professionalism to our customers
5) Learn the company handbook and be able to effectively answer questions from your installers
6) Learn, adopt, and implement Superior Fence & Rail's structured installation process
7) Ensure all materials loaded for a job are the correct product and quantity based on provided diagram and packing list for each job
8) Verify all fence is placed correctly on the property in relation to the property line
9) Use company procedures to effectively manage any errors encountered on a job site
10) Use company procedures to effectively manage all jobsite changes, errors, and unforeseen complications professionally and efficiently
11) Willingness to stay 1 to 2 days overnight infrequently for large projects with a long drive time
Why this position is unique
1) Work all year, we don’t lay off our crews in the winter
2) 40 hour work weeks. We work 4, tens with Friday as a cleanup day
3) Overtime is time and a half past 40 hours/week
4) Performance pay for production and reviews. We believe more productive employees should be paid more

6) Paid for 30 minute lunch, if crew decides to take it

Minimum requirements to apply:
1) Must be able to immediately install a fence with little to no supervision
2) 2 year of Fencing Experience
3) 1 year of Lead/Supervisor experience
4) Possess Valid Drivers License, Reliable transportation, and must have a Clean driving record
5) Pass background check (no felonies or sex offenses) AND Pass drug screening
6) Physically Fit for heavy lifting and working in the heat.
7) Must be able to: Read job orders, Work Unsupervised, Follow Written/Verbal Instructions, Follow Worker’s Comp. Procedures for Onsite Injuries, Drive Truck/Trailer, Obey and Enforce all Safety, Administrative, DOT, and Installation Policies and Procedures.
