Piano Technician Apprentice Wanted
Part Time a couple days a week
For Makers, Artisans, and people who are inclined towards handicrafts
Train to become a Bench Technician for high end acoustic piano restoration
Do you have these propensities?
-Physically strong
-Meticulous
-Detail oriented
-Patient
-Careful
-Exacting
-Mechanical aptitude
-Good spatial relations
-Problem solving ability
-Can follow very specific and thorough directions
(This is not creative brainstorming. Things need to be done accurately in a very specific way)
-Familiar with using a screwdriver
-Artistic is a big plus (visually artistic)
We are looking for the right person to pass down our old school knowledge. Learn from an experienced master craftsman. If you are able to do this type of work then we would like this to be a long-term commitment, as it involves a lot of training. We are not looking for temps.

We have bellymen in Yonkers who do soundboards, strings, pinblocks, and refinishing. We restore actions and keys in Fishkill.
