Uppercut Plumbing and Heating, a top rated, family owned company located in Newburgh NY, is seeking a qualified/dependable/responsible plumbing and heating mechanic. Applicant must be proficient in the following:
Plumbing Skills ie underground and above ground waste and vent piping/rough plumbing including PVC ABS cast iron, domestic water lines including copper and pex, gas piping, including black threaded steel, CSST, knowledge of wells, well tanks, water heaters gas electric and oil, water softeners etc
Installing, troubleshooting and repairing fixtures ie toilets, tub drains, tub and shower valves, kitchen sinks, faucets, dishwashers etc
Heating/HVAC Skills
Must have knowledge of the installation and repair of the following natural Gas, electric propane and oil fired boilers and furnaces, condensers/air handlers, split systems, pumps/zone valves, baseboard fin tubing, indirect heating systems, tankless combi boilers and water heaters etc.
Should possess hand tools to be able to do most basic plumbing and heating jobs. Also must have DL, own vehicle and be available for service calls and occasional emergency service.
