Onsite Opportunity: Diesel Mechanic at Arnoff Moving and Storage – Poughkeepsie, NY
Full-Time Position
Arnoff Moving and Storage is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Poughkeepsie, NY location. We’re looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in diesel repair and maintenance, covering a range of equipment such as heavy trucks, light trucks, automobiles, small engines, refrigeration units, welding, and hydraulics.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough and efficient repairs and maintenance on company vehicles, including trucks, tractor trailers, automobiles, and other heavy equipment, to ensure smooth operations.
Work full-time (40+ hours per week), starting daily at 6:30 AM.
Conduct Federal Heavy Duty Vehicle Inspections to maintain compliance and safety standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues efficiently.
Collaborate with the team or work independently based on the task requirements.
Manage and maintain inventory by ordering supplies and verifying stock levels.
Ensure vehicles are in safe, reliable condition to support the success of our A-Team!
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
