What You’ll Do
Load, pad/protect, transport, and unload furniture, boxes, and occasional specialty items.
Follow safety procedures; use dollies/straps/blankets correctly.
Treat customers and teammates with professionalism; keep the truck tidy.
Safely operate a non-CDL box truck; complete basic paperwork (BOLs, time logs, photos).
What It Takes
Able to lift/carry 75 lb repeatedly and maneuver items through stairs/doorways.
Reliable, on time, positive attitude; clear communication.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet our insurance carrier’s driver criteria.
Willing to consent to an MVR and background check and verify work authorization (I-9).
Available occasionally on weekends and early starts/late finishes.
Nice to Have (not required): prior moving/warehouse/fitness/manual-labor experience; experience handling antiques/pianos/
Schedule & Pay
Hourly role; typical shifts 6–10 hours depending on job volume.
$18/hr + tips (tips are optional and not guaranteed).
Overtime paid according to New York law. Additional hours are common in peak season.
