VISITvortex, a Hudson Valley based local lifestyle magazine, is seeking a detail-oriented copy editor to join our part-time remote team. We're looking for a skilled editor with a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and style. Most work will be completed remotely using Asana, with in-office screen edit once per season in Accord, NY.
You will:
Correct Grammar and punctuation
Ensure correct usage and consistency
Check spelling and typographical errors
Edit for style and consistency based on our style sheet
Fact-check
Be sure articles are clear and readable and convey our brand's voice
