At Jimmy John's we are a restaurant that makes fast, fresh sandwiches. We are looking for a shift manager. The shift manager is responsible for handling all managerial duties on their shift(making sandwiches, slicing meats, driver check out, end of shift paperwork and managing the crew). They are expected to lead by example, more of a side by side style rather than a from the sidelines kind of style. The shifts you will be running will be mostly nights and weekends. We close at 9:00 pm, you are usually out between 9:15pm and 9:30pm. If you are looking for full time hours we can always put you on some day shifts to help out in-shop or drive delivery. We do a set schedule for each college semester so you can plan your life. We will give you a sandwich for the shifts you work. We will start you out at $17/hr for training with an increase($18 to $20 based on experience) when you start running shifts. You should have leadership skills, a strong work ethic and good communication skills. Some leadership experience is preferred but not an absolute. We will train you.
