Palisade is embarking on an exciting expansion that involves new marketing and sales initiatives. We are searching for a Demand Generation Marketing Specialist who will play a significant role in initiatives to raise our profile, spark customer engagement, and generate more qualified sales leads. The day-to-day core responsibility will focus on shaping and activating digital campaigns that help our business grow. Proven experience in developing, executing, and tracking multi-channel campaigns will be required to raise the visibility of Palisade software with key audiences and acquire new leads and customers. Your analytical skills will be relied upon heavily as you create and review KPIs and monitor campaign-related activities based upon new accounts and download stats, report progress to the group, and draw conclusions from these findings to help refocus campaign efforts.

Working from our corporate office in Ithaca, NY, the Demand Generation Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Marketing Director to support and execute key demand generation efforts to deliver traffic, leads and marketing-driven pipeline in partnership with sales. You will have responsibility for executing targeted marketing activities at key targeted prospects and targeted accounts. An analytical mind that uses data to measure and adjust our marketing efforts to maximize our team's efforts will help ensure your success. Additionally, your top-notch organizational skills will be utilized as you manage multiple deadlines and projects delivering excellent customer service with a team approach. With the ability to thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced work environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously you will work cross-departmentally to optimize these campaigns and gain knowledge about effective demand generation activities. Strong writing, analysis, and communication skills are necessary as well.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work with Marketing Director on demand generation efforts, to execute lead & account acquisition strategy through multi-channel targeted lead generation / ABM campaigns

Create, execute and manage campaigns in Marketo with an eye to developing the customer journey and building pipeline

Analyze and test landing pages and forms to optimize conversions

Collaborate with marketing peers to maintain database of named contacts, working to align marketing and sales in defining the target audience to improve data quality, reporting, segmentation, and messaging

Understand Palisades market and buyer personas; refine messaging and campaign offers

Develop, execute, and optimize targeted email and nurture campaigns in Marketo. Run A/B testing on subject lines, images, copy and design as necessary

Develop targeted, industry-specific communications across complete customer journey, including product pages, landing pages, and nurture programs

Execute and evaluate Event programs, Webinar programs, and Nurture Campaigns in Marketo

Analyze campaign performance, and recommend and implement corrective actions

Collaborate with marketing colleagues to analyze and maintain lead scoring and Revenue Cycle Model

Create reports and dashboards in Marketo and CRM. Analyze statistics and attribution metrics for KPIs

Implement and maintain tracking of conversions. Investigate and repair data gaps in reporting

Optimize for scale to find areas to streamline and increase efficiencies in demand generation efforts

Work as part of team to maintain accounts (e.g. Google Ads) and manage SEM campaigns and tracking. Identify KPIs for tracking and reporting. Optimize PPC campaigns, recommend new initiatives, and monitor and report

Work as part of team to review, analyze and update digital content (including websites) following SEO best practices, and tailoring content for conversions. Help in tracking and reporting on SEO in Google Analytics

Contribute as part of team to create and manage native ad campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in demand generation for a B2B company

Proficient in marketing automation technology, and data analysis

Familiarity with Google Ads and experience in managing PPC campaigns is preferred

Experience managing ad platforms including Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn advertising is desirable

Familiarity with Google Analytics, including strategies for building organic web traffic and using SEO tools is preferred

Strong written and communication skills and an ability to synthesize ideas and transform them into compelling, clear communications, with excellent attention to detail is required

Familiarity with HTML is highly preferred, and knowledge of Marketo is a plus
