Position Overview:
We are looking for a retail associate who believes in our environmental mission and is excited to share it with others. As a Home Green Home retail associate, you'll be responsible for: customer service, sales, merchandising, restocking, and more.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and determine their wants and needs
Cashier; opening and closing duties
Assist customers in finding green solutions for their specific needs
Stock and restock shelves and displays; maintain the neat and clean appearance of the store
Communicate special features of products to customers
Assist with merchandising and visual displays
Educate customers about Home Green Home's brand and mission
Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and policies
Follow procedures and directions from lead staff
Assist with promotions and in-store events
Requirements:
Reliable, warm, friendly, and outgoing personality
Availability to work evenings, weekends & holidays
Talent for outstanding customer service
Past experience in retail or customer service
Ability to memorize information about products
Strong listening, problem-solving, & organizational skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while proactively engaging with customers
A knack for working well with others
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Perks:
Starting pay is $16/hour; $17/hour after training
