This posting is for 2 separate positions working with the Potato Breeding Project at Cornell.
First, we are looking for 1-2 individuals to assist with planting this Spring. This will be a 3-4 month temporary position. No real experience needed but if you have some in agriculture or research it will help. Must be able to work full time, M-F 7:30-4. Must be reliable, able to work outdoors in various conditions, be physically fit and have a valid driver's license. Starting in early March and going through early June.

Second, we are currently accepting applications for a Technician III within the project. This is a full time permanent position. Looking for individuals that have experience with agricultural equipment operation and maintenance, farm work, pesticide applications (you don't need to have an applicators permit but will be expected to obtain one after you start), mechanical skills, and light fabrication. Direct experience with potato farming is a plus. Must be reliable and have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record. College degree is a plus but not required if you have 4+ years of experience in farm work.
