What the Ideal Candidate will do:
-Supports the Accounting department with billing and accounts receivable by performing the following duties:
-Assist with company accounts receivables and invoicing.
-Assist with cash coding and posting.
-Maintain customer portals.
-Follow up with customers to collect outstanding funds.
-Assist with journal entries.
-Assist with monthly accounting close and year-end audit.
-Perform data entry and other clerical tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
-Must be a US Person.
-HS diploma plus 1-3 years relevant experience; applicants must understand the basic principles of accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Accounts receivables & invoicing experience preferred.
-Experience with journal entries.
-Must have strong proficiency with using Excel and Word.
-Experience using an ERP/MRP system is preferred but not required (training available).
-Strong math and analytical skills.
-Must be available the first and last 3 business days of each month for month-end close.
