Growing Suffolk County Law Firm is seeking a qualified candidate for an opening as a Controller/Bookkeeper. The position is responsible for a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties including entering and tracking accounts payables and receivables, bank reconciliations, cash management and payroll. Strong computer skill and extensive experience with Quickbooks Desktop.

Essential Job Functions:
Entering and tracking accounts payable and receivables
Billing and receipts
Escrow account management
Monthly bank reconciliations
Payroll (Quickbooks)
Electronic bank deposits
HR Management
Ensures strict confidentiality at all times.
Education, Experience and Skills:
College level accounting classes or Accounting Degree
5 years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper
5 years of experience with Quickbooks
5 years experience with Outlook, Word, Excel
Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail
Strong Organizational Skills
Optional: Experience with LEAP software.
