Seeking Senior Accountant to work in office with following requirements:
Full time/temporary – 1 to 2 year project
Must be within commutable drive to Port Jefferson, NY
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
At least five years’ minimum experience in accounting or a related field
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Proficient in Quickbooks
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to read, analyze and write financial reports/statements
Strong understanding of US tax regulations and sales tax exemptions
Determine prevailing wage rates and benefits
Strong ability in creating and thorough understanding of company financial Statements.
Working closely with bookkeeper and president in creating pricing, understanding proposals, matching proposals
and contracts to invoicing
