What You'll Do:
Meet with school districts, architects, administrators, and decision-makers to understand needs and create full furniture solutions
Generate space plans, layout concepts, and recommendations that enhance function and flow
Prepare detailed furniture proposals using approved vendor lines and quality-driven products
Collaborate with estimating and project management teams on pricing, delivery timelines, and installation planning
Conduct on-site walkthroughs to measure, verify layouts, and assess installation needs
Stay current on trends in classroom design, ergonomics, technology integration, and public space innovation
Build strong relationships throughout Long Island, Queens, and the Mid-Hudson region
Represent the organization at vendor meetings, industry events, trade shows, and school presentations
Who You Are:
We're looking for someone who is positive, energetic, and motivated, the kind of person who takes initiative and inspires confidence. Experienced in furniture sales, interior design, space planning, education, or a related field.
Comfortable reading architectural drawings, taking measurements, and assessing site conditions. Personable, confident, and great with clients. Exceptionally organized and driven, with strong follow-through. Creative and enthusiastic about improving learning and work environments. A natural relationship builder who loves connecting with people. Must have a valid driver's license and willing to travel throughout the territory.
