Work Location: In person
· Design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical equipment apparatus for industrial machinery.
· Industrial motor control and schematic design per UL / NFPA / NEC standards
· Specify controls components for generation of equipment bill of materials.
· Specify machine controls, such as sensors, and control valves for pneumatic power systems.
· Experience with fluid power systems (pneumatic)
· 2D Drafting in AutoCAD or similar CAD environment.
· PLC / HMI based control systems design experience.
· Rockwell Automation Control and CompactLogix platforms, FactoryTalk
·
· Travel to end user facility for commissioning, start-up debug, training
· English as a primary language (must be able to read, write, and speak clearly.) Work instructions and documentation creation will include the following:
o Manuals for equipment controls operation
o Work instructions for fabricators during controls build phase.
o Work instructions for contractors during installation phase
o Occasional travel may be required for familiarization on new systems.
· Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
· Develop and maintain project schedules, communicate with management and peers on
· project status
Minimum 5 years' experience of electrical engineering and or process controls
Electrical Engineering technical degree from a ABET accredited school is preferred
Good communication skills
