Bagel Corner has been a beloved neighborhood institution since 1967, serving the finest bagels in the Bronx. We are excited to announce the opening of our new store in Wantagh, Long Island, and we're seeking dedicated and passionate team members to fill the following positions:
Experienced Baker:
Responsibilities
Mix and prepare bagel dough according to recipes and standards.
Bake bagels, pastries and other products.
Maintain a clean and organized work space including work surfaces and equipment.
Exceptional work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Counter Staff:
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly as they enter the store.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring their preferences are met.
Assemble bagel orders, including slicing bagels and adding spreads, toppings, and fillings.
Prepare coffee, espresso and other beverages.
Ensure orders are complete and accurate before serving to customers.
Keep the counter area and service station clean and organized.
Kitchen Helpers:
Responsibilities:
Assist the baker with preparation as needed.
Slice, dice, and prepare ingredients for bagel toppings and spreads.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including work surfaces and equipment
Wash, sanitize, and store kitchen utensils and equipment.
Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly.
