Team Member – Long Island Bagel Café - GLEN COVE
Long Island Bagel Café has been serving up fresh bagels and great food since 1986, when we opened our very first shop in Oceanside, NY. What started as one store has grown into several locations across Long Island, including Baldwin, Bellmore, Glen Cove, Long Beach, Nesconset, and Mineola. We’ve built our reputation by bringing amazing bagels (and more) to neighborhood after neighborhood.
We’re excited to be growing and are looking for new Team Members to join our Glen Cove location!
What You’ll Do
As part of our crew, you’ll work with a great team to make sure every customer leaves happy. We’ll train you in different areas so you can jump in wherever you’re needed. Expect a mix of weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Your day-to-day could include:
Greeting customers and taking orders (in person and by phone)
Using deli equipment safely (knives, slicers, grill)
Running the register and handling payments
Making food to order and packing it up for customers
Keeping stations clean, stocked, and organized
Following food safety rules (wrapping, labeling, rotating, etc.)
Bringing positive energy and great customer service to every interaction
What We’re Looking For
Some food service or cashier experience (deli/restaurant background is a plus)
Friendly, polite, and energetic personality
Reliable and dependable
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Able to stand and move around for long periods
Good communication skills with customers and team members
Pay & Perks
$16 – 20 an hour based on experience
