A well-known restaurant and bar on the south shore of Nassau County, that is known for great food and service, is searching for a full-time bartender to join our family. As a staple in the community, we strive to provide an ambiance that is both lively and welcoming to our customers.
This is a full-time, on-site bartender role working both week nights and weekends, with responsibilities including but not limited to customer service, cash handling, food & beverage service, and bartending. This role also includes providing an excellent customer experience, and maintains a clean and organized bar area.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse with customers and staff effectively
- Knowledge of food & beverage service protocols and cash handling procedures
- Experience in bartending and mixology
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent, several years of previous experience in the bar and restaurant industry, multitasking abilities, and an understanding of local alcohol laws and regulations. Having a local following would be beneficial as well. Weekend and weeknight availability is a must.
