Montauk's Navy Beach Restaurant will be reopening for the 2025 season and seeking candidates for busser / food runner positions.

Navy Beach is a vibrant, beachfront restaurant located in beautiful Montauk, NY. Known for its relaxed atmosphere, exceptional food, and stunning water views, we offer guests a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent service in a fun and fast-paced environment, and we're looking for a dedicated Busser/Food Runner to help us deliver top-notch hospitality this season.
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Busser/Food Runner at Navy Beach, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. You’ll work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to keep the dining room organized, assist in clearing and resetting tables, and deliver food from the kitchen to the guests. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills, and a passion for providing great service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Food Running: Deliver food from the kitchen to tables quickly and accurately, ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully and served at the correct temperature.
Table Maintenance: Clear dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables and reset them for the next guests.
Assistance to Servers: Support waitstaff by refilling drinks, delivering bread, sauces, or side dishes, and assisting with any other needs during the meal.
Keep the Dining Area Clean and Organized: Ensure the dining room is neat, clean, and inviting for guests at all times.
Collaborate with the Team: Work together with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and an exceptional guest experience.
Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and attentive service, ensuring guests have everything they need throughout their meal.
Adhere to Safety and Cleanliness Standards: Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment for both guests and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-energy environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
