Sergio's Pizza of Riverhead is seeking a friendly and customer service-oriented individual to join our team. Looking for full time & part time workers.
As a Counter Person at Sergio's Pizza, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your duties will include taking orders, answering questions about our menu, maintaining cleanliness and processing payments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a positive attitude. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow with our team.
Requirements:
-Excellent customer service and communication skills
-Must speak English
-Must have proper working papers and/or citizen documentation
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy when taking orders and processing payments
-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities:
-Greet customers and take their orders
-Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
-Follow food safety guidelines
-Monitoring and using the pizza oven
-Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions
-Maintain a clean and organized counter area
-Monitor inventory levels of supplies and restock as needed
