Deli Counter Associate – South Shore Deli & Catering (East Islip)
We are looking for a reliable Deli Counter Associate who has experience with food prep, slicer use, and register operation. This is a hands-on position at a busy local deli.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate deli slicer safely and efficiently
Prepare food items (salads, sandwiches, breakfast, etc.)
Run the register and handle customer transactions
Stock shelves and maintain product displays
Perform light cleaning and keep work areas organized
Provide friendly, efficient customer service
Requirements:
Prior deli, food service, or register experience
Ability to work weekdays and weekends
Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Hours:
Monday–Saturday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
