Looking for experienced kitchen help for a busy Greek restaurant in East Rockaway.
Responsibilites and skills for position include:
Ability to Broil, Grill and finish dishes so that they look great
Ability to wrap classic Greek sandwiches such as Gyro and Souvlaki
Ability to handle knives and operate all kitchen equipment
Coordinate food orders to ensure timely and efficient delivery to each table or outgoing customers
Ensure proper food safety and sanitary standards
Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed customers expectations
Label Food and ensure proper rotation (First In First Out)
Work with other kitchen personnel to fulfill all orders
Sanitize, Rinse and Wash dishes according to code
Prep work including cutting vegetables, preparing sauces, dips etc
