Host/Hostess
We are seeking two friendly and customer-oriented Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and creating a positive dining experience.
Host/Hostess Responsibilities:
- Display a positive first impression (i.e. SMILE)
- Available for day and night shifts
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality
- Proficient in phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries
- Experience in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Familiarity with Resy, Open Table reservation systems is a plus
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar Point of Sale systems is a plus
- Hospitality-driven mindset with a focus on guest relations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Prior experience in customer service roles is beneficial
