Local Restaurant looking for Kitchen Help.
We are a family owned restaurant that has been serving the community for over 40 years. We are open year round, seven days a week.
Position Overview:
This role starts at the foundation of the kitchen: washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness. From there, you’ll assist with prep work, learn to open clams, and gradually move into cooking responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a cook position while gaining hands-on experience in all areas of the kitchen.
Required Qualifications:
Strong work ethic and reliability — this is a fast-paced kitchen where every role matters
Willingness to start with dishwashing while learning prep and cooking skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and pitch in wherever needed
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
Maintain cleanliness and follow all personal hygiene standards required for food safety
Attention to detail in completing tasks and keeping the kitchen organized
Positive, energetic attitude and a willingness to learn
Understanding of basic safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures (we will train)
