Requirements:

3 years minimum of New York restaurant experience/Sushi Chef experience

Have a strong skill for butchering multiple different fish and shellfish, preparing sushi rice, strong essential

ingredients related to sushi service.

Maintaining product quality & Developing new sushi items in trend.

Must have knowledge of Japanese cooking technique (knife skills) and traditional ingredients

Able to maintain great attention to detail in a fast paced environment

Maintaining all sushi bar station work areas, to remain clean and organized at all times

This individual must be consistent under pressure

Communicating with wait staff to ensure special requests and food allergy considerations are met.

Educating Staff on Japanese ingredients ,products & cuisine

Must have open availability & be available to work weekends and holidays
