Orwashers Bakery, New York City's Original Artisan Bakery since 1916 is opening in Roslyn Heights the end of Summer 2022. We are so excited to become part of the community and are looking for shift leaders to join our team. We are hiring now! We produce a wide range of products such as sandwiches, salads, pizza, breads, cakes, cookies, brownies, croissants, granola and holiday products just to name a few. We welcome all qualified candidates to submit a resume.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gives first-class customer service to every customer that walks into our retail location.
Accurate cash handling and operation of our POS system.
Stocking out bread, pastries and cookies for sale. Restocking product as necessary.
Maintaining our high cleanliness standards, a clean and organized work station.
Must be able to work 8 hours on your feet.
Be able to lift at least 30lbs.
Working as a member of the team, flexible enough to pitch in where needed to get the job done!

The Shift Lead is punctual and dependable
Friendly, personable and has outstanding customer service skills
Financially accountable
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
