Duties
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar or dining area and equipment
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area for service
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Upsell drinks and promote specials to increase revenue
Skills
- Experience in fine dining or hospitality industry
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Proficiency in cash handling and sales techniques
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of catering operations and retail math concepts
