We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with disabilities, assisting them in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their quality of life. Your work will play a crucial role in promoting independence and dignity for those you serve.
Responsibilities
Provide direct assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Support individuals in developing life skills and achieving personal goals through tailored care plans.
Assist with appointments, community activities, and social events.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment while encouraging independence.
Document care provided and progress towards goals in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those requiring specialized support.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 6-Months experience working with individuals with disabilities.
