My name is Wendy and I am looking for a Female Caregiver(s) in Nesconset. I have MS and am no longer ambulatory.
This is a permanent position(s) as my current aide has moved out-of-state.
You'll need HHA certification and be over 21 years old. Caregiving experience beneficial.
HOURS NEEDED:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 5pm - 9pm
My care plan for the evening would include:
Feeding me dinner
Bed bath
Toileting hygiene
Colostomy Care
Brace adjustment
Chair-to-bed transfer (I have a Hoyer for transfers.)
In addition, you'll have to assist with:
Light housekeeping - basically straightening up the first floor rooms at the end of the day
Washing the dinner dishes
Starting a load of laundry (or folding a load)
Changing bed linens if necessary
No real cooking (unless you want to) but "meal assembly" is important and you'll have to help me eat.
I have a motorized wheelchair and a fully equipped van for you to drive for any outings.
There are the most adorable 2 cats and turtles in our family so you must like pets.
This is a smoke-free environment.
Registration at Community Care thru CDPAP PPL will be required. You'll need HHA certification and be over 21 years old. Caregiving experience beneficial. Salary is $19.72 per hour. References are required.
