We are looking for a live-in caregiver for our mother in the Smithtown area of Suffolk County.
Due to a stroke, she is non-ambulatory, but can communicate and sleeps through the night. She has some forgetfulness, but is amicable & kind.
She needs daily help with:
Bathing
Toileting & hygiene
Bed-to-wheelchair transfer (via our Hoyer lift)
Food assembly
Taking medication
In addition, you'll need to assist with:
Light housekeeping (keeping kitchen clean, occasional dusting & vacuuming)
Food preparation (as time permits)
Washing dishes
Laundry
Changing linens
Moving her within the home's first floor via wheelchair
Requirements:
The ability to communicate in English
Work authorization (current visa, green card, or USA citizenship)
Flu and covid vaccinated (no mask required)
Non-smoker, non-drug user
Via an agency or CDPAP FI, registered with Medicaid, or willing & able to do so.
At least 6 months experience as a caregiver here in the USA

Work 1-3 days per week (we are in most need of a weekend aide)
Paid $19 per hour
