A loving family in Riverhead, NY is seeking a dedicated and experienced LPN or RN to provide care for a 55-year-old vent dependent quadriplegic man. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and has experience with high-level care.
About the Patient:
Full-time quadriplegic
Vent dependent requires suctioning.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Administering medications
Personal hygiene and grooming
Range of motion exercises
Meal preparation and feeding
Candidate Requirements:
Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State
Proven experience working with quadriplegics vents or individuals with similar mobility or respiratory challenges
Reliable and punctual
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Comfortable with pets (we have a friendly dog)
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Schedule & Compensation:
Medicaid through United Healthcare
