Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies and New York State Certification and Licensure as Physician Assistant
Completion of Accredited PA Program, NCCPA Board Certification, and clinical rotations in various medical specialties, such as internal medicine, family medicine, surgery, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and others
All training required for NYS registration including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control Training
Strong understanding of HIPAA Compliance
At least 1 year of experience working as PA and experience in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Valid Medication Administration Training (MAT) Certificate
1099 independent contractor as needed part-time job, 1-2 days per week in newly established primary care walk-in clinic.
